When racing returns to Vienna Freudenau on Saturday, September 16th, 2017 http://www.dostihovy-svet.cz/cs/node/6786, the main race will be the Austrian St Leger, over 2 800 metres. I understand that there will be at least two other flat races on the card, one race over hurdles, and some trotting races. The race conditions will be published soon.

The Austrian St Leger is traditionally open to 3-y-s and older. Authoritative Czech language websites state that the closing date for entries for the St Leger will be February 6th, and that the race will be run for prize money of EUR 30 000. I will announce the race conditions in English and in German when I receive them. Entries for the other races will not close until the end of August.
