Runners and riders have been announced for the evening meeting at Prague Velká Chuchle racecourse on Thursday, July 16^th. The first race is at 18.30, and there are five races on the card. The lack of high quality horses is more than compensated by the numbers of runners. Each of the races has at least 13 declared runners, and two have 16 runners, the maximum number of spaces in the starting boxes.

The medium range forecast is for a warm evening, and many of us hope that a good crowd on Thursday will encourage TMM, organizers of events at Velká Chuchle, again to try putting on races on midsummer midweek evenings at this very accessible racecourse.

The 5.59 p.m. train from Hlavní nádraží, which stops at Smichovské nádraží at 6.07 p.m., arrives at Praha Velká Chuchle at 6.12 p.m., and you will be inside the racecourse in very good  time for the first race.

The race meeting at Most racecourse on Saturday, July 18^th, features the Czech Oaks and the Velká Mostecká Steeplechase.
